We made it to Biosphere 2! Thank you to our wonderful drivers, Roger, Anders, Sindhu, Patty, and Kathy. With the exception of leaving behind a critical box of supplies that included utensils, plates, a few dry goods and the noodles for tonight's spaghetti dinner, we made it safely to our destination. A couple of hours after leaving IA we stopped near Winterhaven at the Imperial Sand Dunes for lunch. The kids loved the break from the car, running, rolling and exploring the beautiful sand dunes. We rolled in to the Biosphere at 6:00 (5:00 San Diego time) and settled into our unexpectedly lavish home for the next two nights. We are in casitas on the Biosphere campus. Each casita has its own kitchen and common room with 4 separate bedrooms. The only downsideis the reception isn't so great, so parents if you need to contact your child, your call may go straight to voicemail. Please email me or Keith if you need to get a message to your child!
