We start this week off running and don't stop!
Monday we are taking a bus/trolley field trip to two of our old school sites. As a culminating activity to our "design your dream school" mini project, we are collecting photos and footage of our IA history to share with our school and future students, showing where we've come from and where are successes are taking us.
PLEASE have your students to school on time with $1.50 for transit fare, walking shoes, a water bottle and a sack lunch (or money for lunch near our old Mission Gorge site) WE WILL LEAVE SCHOOL AT 9:10 SHARP. If you would rather, take your child directly to Mira Mar Transit station. If you are taking your student there, please email me so I can alert the attendance office. We will be catching the 9:30 #20 bus to Fashion Valley Transit Station. We will arrive back at the Mira Mar transit station on the #20 bus at 3:15. You may pick up your child at the bus stop or wait at school for students to be shuttled back to IA. Tuesday is our Math Unit test on linear equations and solving systems of equations as well as Vocab Quiz # 14. We will also find out whodunnit on our ongoing IACSI murder mystery!
On Wednesday morning we will say our goodbyes to IA as we leave for our Northern California trip. Click here ---> previous blog post for pre trip/packing information. Cynthia will be staying behind with the couple of kids not going. She has a movie day planned Thursday and Balboa Park day next Tuesday.
