Just wanted to share we had a wonderful day. There were a few glitches getting out of town, but we all arrived safely and are having a great time. After setting up tents kids were ready to explore the campground and the beach.

We followed the gorgeous path down to the beach and almost everyone jumped in the waves. By the time we got out it was time to eat dinner. Each tribe got a taste of preparing dinner on their own. I am happy to say nobody starved! After dinner and a beautiful sunset, we grabbed flashlights, headlights and glow sticks for a night hike along the shore. A lesson learned when we arrived back to paw prints in the sand - dont leave ANY food out for the critters. In our case feral cats and a fluffy skunk!
